The Association of Independent Hajj Reporters has sought the partnership of Blueprint Newspapers on the coverage of its activities.

National coordinator of the association, Ibrahim Mohammed, made the request Wednesday during a courtesy visit to the corporate headquarters of the organisation in Abuja.
He commended the newspaper for being at the “forefront of giving the association a voice” and pleaded for the tempo to be sustained, considering the importance of Hajj and Umrah to the adherents of Islam.

He noted that the association’s principal aims of tasking Hajj managers on effective service delivery and sensitisation of pilgrims, especially the ones from rural areas, were being achieved in Nigeria, and plans of covering the whole of Africa was advancing.
