Out of the 3364 hajj slots allocated to Bauchi state for the 2024 hajj, only 550 intending pilgrims has made the required deposit for the forthcoming hajj exercise in the state.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris disclosed this today during the commencement of Secodn round of hajj deposit sensitization exercise in Bauchi state
According to him, out of the *3364* Hajj slots allocated to Bauchi State, presently, Bauchi Pilgrims Board was only able to register less than *550* intending hajj depositors.
Imam Abdurrahman added: “We have received a letter from National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON reiterating the 31st December 2023 as a closing date for the collection of this year Hajj deposit and 5th January has been set as the date for States Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Boards to remit their Hajj deposit payment to NAHCON
