Abuja based Alkauthar Travels and Tours have been selected as one of the private tour operator companies to register and ferry pilgrims to Hajj 2024.

The company, a business partner to HAJJ REPORTERS is one of the 58 companies that scaled the screening processes by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON).

Speaking with HAJJ REPORTERS on Monday from Makkah, Saudi Arabia, where she had gone to finalise arrangements for her pilgrims, the CEO of Alkauthar Travels, Hajiya Rabi at Umar expressed delight over her company’s qualification.

“It has come as a great news and a relief because this year, the process has been tough. NAHCON is not leaving anything to chance and no matter who you are if you do not meet the requirements, they will simply disqualify you. Alhamdu lillah, we have been able to make it so far,,” she said.

Hajiya Rabi at also said after this phase, she is praying and hoping that the commission will scrutinise and select her company as one of the ten to be submitted to Saudi authorities in line with the new policy adopted by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

She also spoke about her plans for Hajj 2024.
“Alhamdu lillah we are happy with the decision taken by Saudi for next year especially with regards to the issue of visas.

“For the next Hajj, all visas will be ready 45 days to Arafat, so we have enough time to plan all itineries and just wait for travel days, honestly, this new policy will reduce the stress faced by everyone including the pilgrims and officials”

“I pray for all of us in the industry, may Allah see us through and make it easy for us Alhamdullilah,”.
