Hajj 2024 Deadline: Islamic Clerics urge Kaduna intending pilgrims to make haste in payment

The Chief Imam of Baba Trader Juma’at Mosque Tudun Wada Zaria, Sheikh Adamu Shu’aibu Adamu, has advised intending pilgrims from Kaduna state to urgently deposit their fares for the 2024 hajj exercise.

In his Friday prayer sermon, Sheikh Adamu Shuaibu explained that depositing the hajj fare before December end will help the authorities make good and adequate preparations for a hitch-free hajj exercise.

He emphasized the need for those with the means and intention to pay their money through the approved authority.

He said recently, that the Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency has stated that any intending pilgrim who does not pay their hajj fare before December end may miss the hajj exercise.

Sheikh Adamu Shu’aibu also highlighted the need for Muslims to devote themselves to constant prayers to seek Allah’s intervention in ending hardship across the country, in light of the global challenge of the lingering dollar exchange rate.

The Kaduna State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Agency recently conducted an enlightenment sensitization campaign, seeking the support of Imams and Islamic scholars to educate intending pilgrims and the public about the new challenges for a successful hajj exercise.
