Hajj payment deadline: Yobe Pilgrims’ commission chair visit Emir, solicit for support

The Executive Chairman Yobe State pilgrims commission Alhaji Mai Aliyu Usman paid a courtesy visit to the Emir of Bade Alh Abubakar umar suleiman today to seeks for support towards 2024 hajj.

Speaking during the visit, the Executive Chairman of the commission pleads with the Emirate council and other Hajj stakeholders to help in dissemination information about the initial Hajj deposit of N4.5m and the December deadline.

The Chairman appealed to local government hajj fare collectors in the state to redouble their efforts and join hands with the commission in educating all intending pilgrims in the state saying the National Hajj commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has fixed December as deadline for the payment of hajj fare for 2024 hajj exercise.

He therefore seeks for fatherly advice from His Royal Highness to enable him discharge his duties effectively.
Responding ,His Royal highness expressed delight over the visit and assured the Executive Chairman of their commitment to ensuring that the message is conveyed to the intending pilgrims within their Emirate and all over the state
