The Director General, Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Laminu Rabi’u Danbappa has said that the board has intensified on enlightenment for timely deposit of 2024 Hajj fare.
This is contained in a statement by Sulaiman A Dederi, Public Relation Officer of the board in Kano on Friday.
The spokesman of the board said the DG made the remarks when he, alongside Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, actively participated in a crucial meeting summoned by National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, in preparation for the 2024 Hajj
Danbappa emphasized that Kano State is diligently coordinating and enlightening intending pilgrims to ensure timely payment of their deposits.
The Director-General was quoted as saying, “Our doors are now open for those ready to pay their deposits before the closing date.”
The statement noted that the meeting, held on 30/11/2023 at the Hajj House Conference Hall in Abuja, signified a milestone in the buildup to the upcoming Hajj.
“This collaborative effort is under the leadership of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, led by the Acting Chairman, Malam Jalal Ahmad Arabi.
“The movement aims to coordinate the leadership of state pilgrims across the country,” the statement concluded.
