Ahead of the 2024 Islamically spiritual exercise to the holy lands of Makkah and Madinah, Osun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board( OSMPWB), has, for the umpteenth times, made its resolve known to make it the best of Hajj Operations ever held for pilgrims from Osun State .
To make this a reality, the Board, will, however, require the support and cooperation of intending pilgrims by completing the payment of the required deposit of #4.5m before the end of this year as earlier announced .
The Chairman of the board ,Dr Moruf lshola reaffirmed this while having a high powered stakeholders meeting in his office with private Hajj Operators.
The meeting which was at the instance of the Board was with a view to robbing minds with the private Hajj operators so as to equally let them know the series of arrangements so far put in place for a hitch free Hajj 2023.
The meeting also afforded all stakeholders an opportunity to bare out their minds on how to go about making the exercise a success.
After a successful deliberations which lasted several hours, Dr Morouf Ishola admonished the private sector operators of Hajj in Osun state to make the fear of Allah, as one of the cardinal virtues of their day to day dealings with the intending pilgrims,particularly in making all their demands and expectations met, before, during and after the 2024 Hajj exercise.
The Board Chairman, particularly emphasised the need for all all international passports of the Intending Pilgrims to be made readily available before the 3rd of March, 2024.
Responding on behalf of the private Hajj operators, Alhaji Tede lauded the Morouf Ishola led Board with a declaration that, they are ready to follow all the guidelines and other arrangements that will make the operation the best it has ever been for intending Muslims from Osun state.
He prayed that Allah will continue to strengthen the unity and bond of relationship between the Board and private Hajj operators.
In his closing remarks, on behalf of the Board, the vice Chairman, OSMPWB, Hon. Mudasiru Ibrahim Commended the spirit of oneness between the Board and the private operators.
