Jigawa Gov approve N48 million for renovation of Muslim Pilgrims’ Board Office

The Jigawa State Governor Mallam Umar Namadi FCA has approved the sum of Forty Eight Million Naira (48.,000.000) for the renovation of Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board offices.

A statement signed by the public relations officer of the board, Murtala Usman said ‘the renovation work which is expected to be completed in two months has started

In his response, the Executive Secretary of the board Alhaji Ahmad Umar Labbo has expressed gratitude to His Excellency Mallam Umar Namadi FCA for the approved amount to renovate the board offices to meet it’s standard.

He added that since the governor came into power, he took the welfare of Jigawa State Pilgrims as one of his priority, because Hajji is one of the pillars of Islam.

He described the governor as the first to approved N2.2 billion loan to the board to secure Five Hundred seats (500) before the deadline given by the National Hajji Commission.

When turn to the contractor Alhaji Ahmad Umar Labbo has expressed satisfaction on the level of the work so far done, and call on the contractor to speedy the work so that to reach the agreed time given to him.
