Newly appointed Minister of Religious Affairs Md Faridul Haque Khan mentioned that the deadline for Hajj registration ended on January 18.
“We are in contact with the Saudi government, and if they grant permission, we will proceed. However, as of now, the deadline has passed,” he said this while talking to the journalists at the Awami League party office in Jamalpur on Tuesday.
He said: “After discussions with the Hajj Agencies Association of Bangladesh (HAAB), we have given them notice that we will not extend the date any further.”
