Heat during Hajj: Association launch Portable Air Conditioner for pilgrims


Riyadh: In a bid to alleviate the intensity of heat during pilgrimage rituals, the Hajj and Umrah Charity Association in Saudi Arabia has introduced a novel initiative.

According to Arab media reports, portable air conditioners have been developed to enhance the service and comfort for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. This portable air conditioner stands out as one of the most prominent innovations presented by the association in recent years.

Turkey Alhattirshi, the association’s CEO highlighted the commitment to consistently improve and provide standard services for Umrah pilgrims each year. The aim is to ensure that the products offered are highly beneficial and have a clear impact on the well-being of the pilgrims.

Alhattirshi revealed that the portable air conditioner features rapid cooling technology and 360-degree air flow coverage. Remarkably, it operates for up to 12 hours after charging for just 4 hours.

He explained that the device includes a smart temperature control unit with various modes for different seasons including fan and heating modes. The portable air conditioner remains securely in place whether during congregation or pedestrian travel offering robust neck support.

It’s important to note that this portable air conditioner can be utilized not only by pilgrims in Makkah and Madina but also at other religious and sacred sites. The introduction of such innovative solutions reflects the ongoing efforts to enhance the pilgrimage experience ensuring the well-being of individuals undertaking these sacred journeys.
