The The Director-General of Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alh Laminu Rabi’u Danbappa, has officially announced ₦4.699 million as the final fare for 2024 Hajj.
In a statement by Sulaiman A. Dederi, its Public Relations Officer on Saturday, the board said the announcement was in line with the directives by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON.
He said the announcement followed unanimous decisions from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria on Saturday.
Dederi said Danbappa underscored the availability of Hajj seats for purchase, urging intending pilgrims to seize this opportunity.
“He emphasizes that the final Hajj fare is applicable from February 3, 2024, to February 12, 2024, encouraging the Muslim Ummah who are willing and yet to register to please avail themselves of this chance.
“Furthermore, Danbappa calls upon those who have made deposit of N4. 5m to come forward in earnest for the balance of N199, 000 while those whose deposit fund have been retained for consecutive years should also turn up immediately for topping to reach the fixed fare of N4.699 million.
“He expresses gratitude for the Kano State Government’s efforts, particularly under the leadership of Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusif, in renovating the Hajj Camp and other welfare packages for the benefit of pilgrims,” he concluded.
