Saudi introduces ‘Hajj and Umrah MEDIATHON’ for innovative media coverage

The Saudi Arabia Center for Government Communication (CGC) at the Ministry of Media, in collaboration with the Pilgrim Experience Program (PEP), has launched the ‘Hajj and Umrah MEDIATHON’.

This initiative aims to foster innovative ideas, projects, and solutions to address challenges within the media sector related to Hajj and Umrah coverage.

The MEDIATHON, featuring stages from launch to selection, marathon days, qualification, and bridging, invites participation through the portal Mediathon.media.gov.sa.

It aims to enhance the quality of media coverage for Hajj and Umrah by collaborating with various stakeholders in institutional communication, encouraging the submission of innovative media ideas and projects to advance the media representation of these pivotal religious events.
